Joel Richter General This section, just east of Rt 251, is one of two sections of original double track main in Victor. 10/1/2009 9:58:24 PM
Christopher Smith General Not quite. Although certainly in the bed of the former second track, this siding was installed with a grant from New York State sometime in the 80's or 90's (obviously I don't have an exact date). The LV second track was taken out of service in the 70's and pulled soon after. Prior to the installation of the siding, service to Iron City Sash & Door (on the other side of Rt. 251) required 2 mile shove moves to Victor (proper) for runarounds. In the ONCT days, this location was listed in the timetable as West Victor. 9/2/2019 7:03:41 PM
